Windowlight
Crossing pools of light, spilling from curtained windows, flowing
from homes, especially in unknown streets or cities, drawing us
into possibilities. I wanted to keep some of this light. With a
black plastic bag protecting large sheets of unexposed photographic
paper, I walk to these lightpools. I open the bag under a window
to document the amount of light (by exposing the light-sensitive
paper) that streams onto the street. Windowlight is a document of
the possibilities of urban unpredictability.
